Human body practice

■ Human body practice

If you become familiar with Moe Character, the figure is quite fresh. Moe characters have a moderate omission of vividness. Even Moe characters are essentially humans, so human practice is inevitable. Rather, this is all about drawing a character. Studying the human body is an overwhelming shortcut, rather than practicing manga painting.

I tend to practice the picture of the outline of the human body, but what I have recently learned is "person = bone + muscle". Even practicing the overview may be less effective.

The human body consists mostly of muscles only around the waist. Other than that, I think that the shape of the bone is the shape of the human body. Basically, the knowledge required to draw a Moe character is a bone. Studying bones is inevitable. You may also think of it as “muscle = soft bone”. A soft bone is attached to the bone and it finally becomes the shape of the human body. Drawing Moe characters means drawing bones and muscles if drawing people by drawing people.

The purpose of the administrator to practice the figure (human body) is to draw the original Moe picture. Moe-e can be thought of as the original cartoon character (like a character doll). In Japan, deformed human characters tend to be preferred over cartoons depicting fresh humans.

I would like to start with a copy of a cartoon character, but I thought that the amount of information in the paintings was overwhelmingly small. Moreover, it is deformed. In the case of the manager, I was most afraid that the design of a manga artist or other person would be stained first.

In order to avoid that, I put up with the desire to draw moe and manga, and first thought that the details of the human body should be remembered in the brain.

The best thing I started with a portrait was that I started with a copy of a human face photo (head). This seems to have provided the basis for replication. Copying a human face photo is very responsive when copying.

In the case of the manager, before starting to practice the torso and moe painting, we first practiced copying with reference to the hair catalog until we were able to replicate photos of the human head (face and hairstyle). Practice the face angle at various angles. At first, it looked like an Egyptian mural, or the vertical length of the image, but after about 14 copies of various people's heads (faces), it was finally possible to copy them accurately. . It took about 3 months. After reaching this level, I started practicing body torso. As the facial copy becomes a spooky picture as soon as it goes crazy, the human head copy is the best for practice. As long as you are at a level where you don't even go crazy, copying the torso will not be a pain.

The manager is referring to a picture of a person who seems to train his body. The human body of the person who trains the body feels cool because it is lean and has a good posture. I think it's better to flesh it into the base.

■ Upper body practice

Perhaps you usually practice the general feeling of the whole body, but for the manager, it is difficult to remember at a stretch, so first focus on the upper body. If you can draw the upper body, you may be able to draw a face picture of the game. There is expectation.

The above is only a rough copy, so it is not precise. Also, be careful not to practice while looking at the picture of the administrator, as information may be missing. If you look for real photos and practice copying, you will not lose information.

For details, see “Drawing the upper body” and the results will be posted.

■ Practice around the waist

I had a hard time because I couldn't get a copy of the photo for practice. In addition, the three directions of front, back and side had to be copied simultaneously. Since there is no detailed drawing in the game picture, I decided to remember only the outline and ratio in the brain.

For details, see “Drawing around the waist” for the practice results.
